koreanfilm.org.uk - a gateway into the most exciting film market in the world

                                                                Jan - April 09 Updates

Hello there, my fellow readers.... Sorry, again, for the lack of updates. Unfortunately, I am the only who updates it, so when I get busy with other things,  such as my MA, regrettably, it kind of gets left out. Therefore, any help to provide content will be much appreciated. As the summer progresses, the site will have more content uploaded as my MA draws to a close, but any of you who wish to write anything, please, please let me know. Reviews, news aritcles, features, anything...

As you know the Cannes Film Festival is just around the corner. And it seems like a very promising one for Korean cinema with Park Chan-wook's Thirst screening in the competition and Bong Joon Ho's Mother is screening in the 'Un Certain Regard' programme. And to cap it off, Lee Chang-dong is sitting on the jury. Not bad!

And any of you who feel compelled to see the remake of Tale of Two Sisters, The Univited; it is being released on Friday in cinemas across the UK, but expect nothing less than a total disaster!
